How long will urban radio continue to ignore the actions of R. Kelly and rather embrace their business relationship with music labels so not to offend? How many times will R. Kelly be heard on the radio today on iHeartRadio, Radio One, Cumulus, Emmis, CBS, and Entercom stations? Plenty.
Now the 24-year-old mother of three, Jerhonda Pace tells BuzzFeed News that after the trial, when she was 16, she became one of many women traumatized by a relationship with Kelly. Her detailed and well-documented story of accepting cash settlements from the star in return for signing nondisclosure agreements, which has not been previously reported, illustrates how Kelly has been able to silence young women he has allegedly wronged.
