Elle Duncan Shines as Co-Host on The Ryen Russillo Show ESPN Radio
Elle Duncan, ESPN Sports Center anchor, began her media career in radio as an on-air intern with The 2 Live Stews on the former 790 The Zone. Elle recently made a return to her radio roots when she co-hosted The Ryen Rusillo Show on ESPN Radio. Check out the show below.
After working with The 2 Live Stews, the Atlanta native moved on to V-103 where she joined the Ryan Cameron Show as co-host/traffic/entertainment reporter. Duncan then landed the midday host position in 2009 before moving on to handle sports reporting on The Frank and Wanda in the Morning show. During her time at V-103, Duncan was a contributor with the Atlanta Falcons radio network, an Atlanta Hawks sideline reporter, and a sideline reporter for SEC and ACC football games on Comcast Sports South. She then became a traffic reporter at 11 Alive, the NBC Affiliate in Atlanta. Duncan moved on to Boston and joined NESN (New England Sports Network) in 2014 as an anchor, reporter, and host. She then joined SportsCenter as an anchor in April 2016.
This was her first time hosting a radio show on the ESPN national platform. Duncan was both engaging and opinionated. This may mark the first time we've heard an African American woman co-hosting a national sports talk show. She should get more opportunities in the future to host shows on ESPN Radio.
