Jhene Aiko and More Kick Off #YouTubeBlack Fan Fest 2018 at Howard Homecoming
YouTube hosted its 2nd Annual #YouTubeBlack FanFest during Howard University’s Homecoming in Washington, DC.
Over 1400 college students and alumni filled Howard’s Cramton Auditorium for a standing room-only interactive experience featuring an intro by Howard’s marching band and step team as well as performances by notable YouTube creators Ari Lennox, Ceraadi, Kyle Exum, Dormtainment, KevOnStage, Khadi, TPindell, Next Town Down and Shan Boody.
The evening ended with a performance by Def Jam recording artist and songwriter, Jhene Aiko. Following the performances, the creators engaged with the audience in one-on-one meet and greets where fans had the opportunity to take photos with their favorite YouTuber.
