The New 97.7 is Now The Beat of Boston
The New 97.7, Boston's #1 for R&B has flipped to The Beat of Boston. KJ of the Morning Wake Up remains with the station and is now hosting afternoons. As of now, the morning drive show will feature all music. Eric Edwards, most recognizable as the voice of Hot 97 in the Big Apple, will handle imaging for the station.
iHeartMedia Boston announced today the debut of The New 97.7 The Beat of Boston, effective immediately.
The New 97.7 The Beat of Boston will broadcast pop and rhythmic hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s including songs from artists like Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Prince, TLC, and The Notorious B.I.G.
