Donna Baker, Regional Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Kansas City, said: “Boogie D brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion to win to our outstanding Magic 107.3 team. We are fortunate to have his creativity and leadership as we continue robust growth generating results for advertisers and even more focus serving our listeners in the KC community.”
Kenny Smoov, Vice President/Urban Formats, CUMULUS MEDIA, said: “The “Boogie” is making its way to KC and we’re excited to bring in a veteran player like Boogie D to Cumulus. Let’s make some Magic!”
Dolby commented: “I have watched Magic evolve in the Urban Music space and am excited by what I hear and by the tremendous ratings growth. The top-tier talent of Rick and Sasha in the morning and one of the Kings of Comedy, DL Hughley, in the afternoons is unmatched. Combined with KC stars Darron Story, Ivani and all our other talented on-air team members, the foundation for the next level of winning is in place.”
