100HipHopandRNB Digital Radio Signs Marc Clarke and Features All-Star Urban Radio Lineup
Marc Clarke signs on with 100HipHopandRNB.FM digital radio based in Miami to host afternoons. He exited the afternoon show on 96.3 WHUR recently. The station hopes to bring in a familiar co-host as well to hold down afternoons.
The stations features an impressive lineup of veteran Urban/Hip Hop/Adult R&B radio personalities along with a wide ranging playlist that is very much different than what is heard on similar formatted stations across the nation. The station targets the 25-54 demo and plays many new releases and the occasional Miami/South Beach flavored Caribbean Island track mixed in with R&B, Hip Hop, and Throwbacks.
Technology and the current "stay at home" work mode due to the coronavirus allows the station to bring in a variety of personalities from all over the country. The station features comedian Sheryl Underwood radio show in the mornings. Coka-Lani handles 9-Noon. (She is also currently heard on WHUR) Lorenzo Ice-Tea Thomas from 7 pm-10 pm and Cayman Kelly 10pm -2am (He just signed a major voice over deal with ESPN).
Marc Clarke former host at 96.3 WHUR, Radio 103.9 in New York, and Baltimore's 92Q has signed on for afternoons from 3 pm-7 pm. The station is also reportedly negotiating with Allison Seymour the Washington D.C. FOX Morning News anchor and wife of Clarke to join him on the show. K Foxx, formerly with 100.3 WRNB in Philadelphia, Hot 97, and 99 Jamz in Miami is slated to take over early afternoons from Noon-3 pm.
The station's new lineup will launch in August. (The specific date has not been finalized as of press time.) .100hiphopandrnb.fm is available on the iHeartRadio app and other digital platforms.
