The Reckoning of CBS TV Executives Continues, Former CBS2 Reporter Don Champion Details More Hostile Remarks ...Will More Come Forward?

Following a shocking report released by the LA Times detailing alleged racist, sexist, and homophobic remarks made by two CBS executives, David Friend and Peter Dunn, aimed at Black anchors Ukee Washington, Brooke Thomas, and Rahel Solomon at CBS3 in Philadelphia, comes more allegations. This time former WCBS-TV New York freelance reporter Don Champion, who is Black and gay, is coming forward with similar accusations about his time at a different CBS owned and operated station.

Brooke Thomas seems to be hit hardest by the artitrary, baseless, and racist remarks made by the CBS executives in terms of her career. Thomas was terminated after six months at CBS3 in 2016. Dunn used an expletive to describe her on-air performance and wanted her gone after her second day. She has yet to secure a full time anchoring job since.

We expect there to be more former CBS staffers to come forward.
