Draymond Green is Changing Media and We are ALL FOR THE NEW MEDIA While "Male Version Karen Type" Media Members are Coming at Him with that "Undertone"

Draymond Green, the power forward for the Golden State Warriors has been very vocal about the fact that the media has too much power in deciding the fate and more specifically the amount of money a NBA player can make over the course of their career.

However the best thing Draymond does is that he does a pod right after the game. We don't have to get it secondhand from a writer. The content is authentic.

How does the following tweeted video sound from Russo? Yes it sounds like let me bring on Stephen A. so I don't sound out of touch. Vomit emoji! 🤮🤢Stephen A. and Chris Russo--you're dinosaurs! Your act is over! Send the clowns back to the Circus! Can you stop screaming? We'll get to what was said on First Take later on in this post. Russo said he spoke for America.

Now let's get back to the Changing Media...

Draymond has some very important points to make. Prominent media members get to vote on awards such as Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and most importantly the Most Valuable Player of the Year. The MVP. All of these awards impact the amount of money a player can potentially make, especially if a player is NOT named to an All NBA Team award.

[Check the video at the top and the one below.]

So Draymond calls out the BULLSH*T from one Chris "Mad Dog" Russo on ESPN's First Take saying that America doesn't want to hear from Draymond Green. Draymond is right. WHO is he to make this statement? Draymond is right also about this. There is a tinge of racism in Russo's statement that Draymond should shut up and play.

There is also that undertone of racism surfacing in the MVP vote this year. Clearly the best player, the MVP in the NBA, is Joel Embiid. However because the media gets to decide the winner of that award, it seems to be headed for the mantle, a shelf, or the trophy case in the home of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, a white Eastern European player who won the award last year. Some of that non-vote for the Cameroon born Embiid may point to some bias towards the outwardly and purposely losing process that help the Philadelphia 76ers to acquire the center from the University of Kansas a number of years ago as a top three draft pick. But let's take note the Nuggets were bounced out of the first round of the NBA playoffs, while Embiid's team has currently advanced to the second round of the playoffs.

Major media basketball writers and reporters will point to some vague advanced analytics efficiency statistics that suggest that Jokic is the better player this season than Embiid. They ignore the fact that Embiid is a better defensive player and led his team to the second best record in the Eastern Conference with the cloud of the Ben Simmons saga hanging over the team for most of the season. Embiid was the glue that kept the winning team together. It's also crazy to think that Lebron James has only won the MVP four times over his 19 year career. Those same guys voted on that too.

Thankfully there is former NBA player JJ Redick out here to give some balance to the dinosaur views of Russo. Nobody wants to hear takes that sound like they are from the Fox News Channel or their viewers.

Below is the podcast that has triggered the backlash Draymond Green is receiving. He makes some important points in the conversation he had with Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala and former NBA player and Boston Celtics assistant Evan Turner:

Draymond points:

“Media is dying.

The problem we have is people don’t understand the game, and they’re talking about the game. So some of these employers need to be held accountable, too. Stop putting people on here that can stir up the most controversy and let’s get back to teaching this beautiful game of basketball that we love.

The cause of death is that athletes can now communicate directly with fans, making journalists increasingly superfluous. The solution is to get back to focusing on the games, specifically, not interpersonal drama.”

Now here come the male Karens - -

Let the players talk and analyze game
