Dee "Lil D" Porter Back on the Radio in Dallas on K104 as Her Radio Journey Continues

Lil D Dee Porter is officially back on the radio in Dallas on K104 KKDA-FM. She will hold down Saturday late night at midnight. Porter was the midday host on rival 97.9 The Beat KBFB-FM from 2018 to April 1, 2021. (Let go on April Fool's Day!) Since that time she continued to promote her book Route 2: My Choice to Struggle to Succeed, stayed positive, and went through a body transformation. She's also producing her own syndicated entertainment reports on WYNN 106.1 and 98.5 Kiss-FM.

Before arriving in Dallas, she was a part of the Radio One Columbus cluster and Hip Hop station Power 107.5 & 106.3 as well as tracking weekends at Radio One's Z107.9 in Cleveland and Hot 104.1 in St. Louis.

Porter's book is the diary of a homeless radio superstar in the making. She was working part-time on radio in Cleveland, Ohio, but couldn't afford her rent and was ultimately evicted, forced to move into a motel, and her car when she couldn't afford it. Instead of going back home to Louisiana, Porter chose to stay in Ohio and chase her dreams.
