Shiba Russell Says Goodbye to Atlanta and 11 Alive as News Anchor
11 Alive WXIA-TV news anchor Shiba Russell anchored her last show on Thursday after six years at the station.
Russell hasn't announced her next job, but she is moving back to the Northeast area of the U.S. after arriving to the ATL from NBC4 (WNBC-TV) in New York City. Shiba started at 11Alive in 2016 as a morning news anchor. She eventually moved to the afternoon program at 11 Alive. She will also say goodbye to the Atlanta viewers via an appearance on the Ryan Cameron Show on Majic 107.5/97.5.

Thx for making it a priority to give me my flowers before I depart the ATL @ryancameron. I’m truly honored to have shared the mic with you. The cherry on top: meeting legendary comedian @MrGeorgeWallace and hip-hop duo 69 Boyz @majicatl pic.twitter.com/JKFHQzZXsz
