Krystle Rich-Bell Joins KTLA Sports Team Will Anchor the Station's Coverage of the Los Angeles Clippers
Krystle Rich-Bell, sideline reporter on The Big Ten Network's college football coverage in the fall and a host on the now unrenewed "Sixers Outsiders" on NBC Sports Philadelphia is going across the country to join KTLA in Los Angeles and their coverage of the NBA's LA Clippers. Rich-Bell is who married to CBS 3 Philadelphia Sports director and anchor Don Bell is relocating from the Philly area. She acknowledged his support of her move to LA.
Krystle Rich-Bell and 97.5 The Fanatic afternoon host Tyrone Johnson hosted the popular Sixers Outsider show over the last 4 years on the regional sports network. Their show was so popular in fact that they avoided the ax from the higher ups at NBC Sports Regional Networks last year. While similar NBA post game shows in other cities such as Bulls Outsiders, Blazers Outsiders, and Warriors Outsiders were cut two years ago by NBC Sports.
Rich-Bell revealed her move in a series of tweets, She also expressed her desire to one day moving towards her dream job of being a sideline reporter for the Philadelphia 76ers. That however was not possible as the Sixers and NBC Sports Philadelphia eliminated that position from their broadcasts two years ago due to budget cuts prior to the pandemic and the NBA bubble season.
Thrilled to be joining @KTLA as the newest addition to their sports team! I will field report, anchor & be involved with the station’s new @LAClippers partnership! Thank you to the wonderful management team & my super supportive husband❤️! So excited for this new adventure in LA! pic.twitter.com/dWX3j9G1J6
