ESPN Ready to Hire Doc Rivers, Promote Doris Burke, and Has Fired Mark Jackson from Their NBA Coverage According to New York Post

The handwriting was on the wall when Jeff Van Gundy was let go by ESPN in a round of budget cuts by Disney that Mark Jackson would be next to go. It would've been quite strange to see Jackson without Van Gundy on the ESPN NBA broadcasts next season.

This just in: Mark Jackson told me he was let go by ESPN. He had two years left on his contract. Jeff Van Gundy was let go weeks ago. Doc Rivers and Doris Burke are now Mike Breen’s partners…
