Wisdom Martin Set to Join ‘Get Up DC!’ as Larry Miller Will Move to the Afternoon Newscasts on WUSA9
Did Larry Miller spill the beans, let the cat out the bag, or unintentionally spilled some tea? Whatever the case Miller announced on social media that he will be leaving Get Up DC! for the 12, 4 and 5pm newscast. Former Good Day DC and Fox 5 anchor/host Wisdom Martin will replace Miller.
Change is a constant in the world of media, and viewers of WUSA9's "Get Up DC!" may be surprised to see Wisdom Martin stepping into the role previously held by Larry Miller starting in September. As the torch is passed from one anchor to another, Wisdom Martin's arrival signals yet another anchor who has left Fox 5 over the last few years and has remained in town (in the District) for new roles at competing stations.
Among those who have left is Allison Seymour. Here's her social media post.
