Crossover Negro Gets Fired

Former co-host "Crossover Negro" on the Star and Buc Wild Morning Show, Reese Hopkins was let go from his Boston talk radio gig on WRKO. Hopkins, who had the 10 a.m. to noon slot, was on WRKO for less than a year and was cut loose after Monday's show. WRKO is replacing him with the syndicated, conservative Laura Ingraham show. Reese said, “I got the greatest opportunity to do radio here in Boston, where people love to talk. The company’s going through some rough times and they had to make a decision. It’s business. It’s nothing personal.”
