The Politically Incorrect Benediction

Other than the swearing in of the 44th President, Barack H. Obama, Jr.; The best moment of the ceremony was the beginning of the veteran civil rights leader Rev. Joseph E. Lowery's closing prayer by evoking the verses from the Black National Anthem and ending with references to the BLACK MAN, BROWN MAN, YELLOW MAN, RED MAN and WHITE MAN... everybody "say AMEN, say AMEN, and AMEN." Many people were offended by what Rev. Lowery offered, but he's a 87 year old man. At that age you kind of get to say whatever you want to say. Of course Obama gives him a cordial hug at the end as if to say, "Please don't say no more."

What did you think of Aretha Franklin's hat? (Did Aretha really say "SHUT UP" at 2:50 into the video?)
