Oprah Going to The White House for Holiday TV Special
The talk show host Oprah Winfrey will tape a primetime Christmas special with President Obama and the First Lady later this week. The hour-long show is set to air at 10 p.m./ 9 p.m. CST on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Oprah will usher in the the holidays at the White House, visiting the Obamas as they prepare for their family's first Christmas there.
“Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special,” will be a produced by Oprah’s Harpo Productions. It’s being billed as an “intimate, informative and entertaining hour-long special” that will include a one-on-one conversation with the president.
It will be Oprah’s first interview with the man she helped get elected president since he took office in January. The high-definition special will include behind-the-scenes preparations as the White House gets ready for the holiday season.
