Random Thoughts on Charlamagne Tha God
The blog "Random Ramblings of a Radio Chick" gives some thoughts on the recent firing of Charlamagne at Radio One's 100.3 The Beat. Read here. (I love her blog)
I agree with everything she says about Charlamagne. He is a genuine dude! He gets it! He's not above connecting with singers, rappers, bloggers or just the ordinary radio listener. (WE can't say that for everyone that is on the air or in the industry.)
He is more than a liner reader. He knows how to engage the radio listener. Charlamagne is one of a very few young broadcasters who has the ability to do this. In this era of radio syndication, he is a rare find.
Charlamagne appreciates each and every listener he has. So check out "The Radio Chick's" blog and Charlamagne with Lil' Duval on Hood State of the Union "The Hip Hop Superlative" on YouTube.
Meanwhile Charlamagne's Twitter account continues to accumulate more and more followers even after his release from Radio One. We hope to see him back on the radio real soon...
