Keith Olbermann Launches Fok News Channel

Former MSNBC "Countdown" host Keith Olbermann has launched Fok News Channel, a Web site called the "official not-for-profit blog of Keith Olbermann." FOK stands for Friends of Keith even if it might remind you of another news cable outlet.

The first post for FOK News was a blog style reworking of the popular "Countdown" segment titled "Worst Persons in the World." The post called out cable news host Bill O'Reilly, Rep. Paul Broun of Georgia and "The would-be Mayor of Jacksonville, Florida" Mike Hogan as the worst people of the day.

Other posts show Olbermann covering the 1999 Academy Awards for the Los Angeles Times and a photo of the nearly 70,000 protesters that converged on to the capital of Wisconsin last week that was not carried by the major networks.

Take a peek at the FOK News Channel.

Here's one of the first Worst Person segments on MSNBC that eventually became a daily feature on Countdown.
