Love Doesn't Have To Hurt - Commentary from NPR's Michel Martin


Michel Martin addressed the controversial Pepsi Max commercial that ran during this year's Super Bowl, domestic violence and racial stereotypes. All in one commentary. On Valentine's Day.

Many people failed to realize that is was not "just a commercial." It's never just a random commercial. Not when millions of dollars are on the line. And no one would spend that kind of money if they thought "you don't even pay attention to commercials." It was Pepsi and not the viewers that brought race into IT!
