Nicki Minaj Wears a Chicken Wing Necklace at iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas
Nicki Minaj was interviewed backstage on Saturday night by Elvis Duran, the morning host at Z-100 in New York and co-host Carolina Bermudez. Clear Channel Radio promoted the event as "The biggest live music event in radio history." The main reason for the event was to push the new "Pandora like" features of the iHeartRadio app.
Clear Channel also used the opportunity to give exposure to a number of their radio personalities including event host Ryan Seacrest, who host his own daily syndicated show from Los Angeles on KIIS 102.7 FM. Also getting props were DJ Diamond Cuts of Power 99 in Philly and DJ Clue of Power 105.1 in New York, who mixed the music and kept the crowd moving between the sets.
