Joe Madison Leads 'Talented 10' in Talk Radio
ATLANTA, Nov. 7, 2011 - Sirius XM Radio's Joe Madison topped Black Talkers annual list of the 10 top black radio talk show hosts in America. "This award means the most because it comes from the people," Madison said.
Madison beat Atlanta's Derrick Boazman, of CBS Radio-owned WAOK-AM, by more than 30 votes, according to the black talk media covering Web site.
In the closest year of voting ever, there were two ties. There were ties between Helen Blocker-Adams and Michael McFadden and Warren Ballentine and Bev Smith, who just lost her show a few weeks ago but was included in the voting. The ties were broken based on who has appeared on the list before.
