Mason Back on the Air "In the Afternoon" on WCHB Detroit
In October Radio One made a few format changes at their radio stations in Detroit that resulted in a new Gospel format on 102.7 FM and moving Hip Hop to the new Hot 107.5. As a result veteran Detroit radio personality John Mason and the music of WGPR went by the wayside. At the time Radio One said they would explore other options for Mason. They have made good on their promise.
John Mason has resurfaced on News Talk 1200 AM WCHB as the afternoon talk show host following Al Sharpton.
