98.7 KISS FM Will Broadcast Whitney Houston Funeral
FROM 98.7 Kiss FM (WRKS) NEW YORK- The funeral for Whitney Houston will be held this Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ where she sang as a child. Allthough the Houston family has requested that Whitney's funeral be private and by invitation only, fans will be allowed to share in the homegoing service as it will be broadcasted as well as streamed online by The Associated Press (http://www.livestream.com/whitneyhouston).We are proud to be apart of this broadcast and honored to annouce that on behalf of the family of Whitney Elizabeth Houston, 98.7 Kiss FM will broadcast her service from the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark this Saturday starting at noon. "We're providing this service to our community and for her fans that are unable to attend-but want to celebrate her homegoing. We are thankful for the honor," says KISS Program Director, Jay Dixon.
Whitney Houston's eulogy will be given by gospel singer and family friend Marvin Winans.
