Coka-Lani Lands the Midday Slot at 93.9 WKYS DC
93.9 WKYS in Washington, D.C. has filled the midday host position at the station with veteran radio personality Coka-Lani Kimbrough. PD Neke Howse said, "We are excited to have Coka-Lani join our team. She has a great energy and a load of radio experience, having worked as midday host in other major markets."
The Howard University alum said, "I am happy and blessed to be part of the WKYS family and look forward to bringing positive vibes to the Washington, Maryland, and Virginia area. I want to thank Neke and Senior Vice President of Programming Jay Stevens for acknowledging my skills and giving me this opportunity."
Coka Lani’s previous stops have been at crosstown rival 95.5 WPGC in Washington, D.C.; 92Q WERQ in Baltimore; Power 99 WUSL in Philadelphia; the former 103.5 The Beat in Miami; and 95.7 The Beat in Tampa.
