Radio veteran Troy Johnson Anchors the News in DC

Troy Johnson signs on with CBS' new Washington, D.C. all-news station WNEW, 99.1 FM, as a news anchor. Johnson will also continue hosting "The Hang Suite" with Marc Clarke on 96.3 WHUR on Saturday evenings. The show also airs each night on H.U.R. Voices on Sirius XM Channel 141 Monday through Friday. Johnson, a former talk show host in Baltimore, was also a popular host with Clarke on  92Q's Big Phat Morning Show.

Johnson updated his status by saying this to his friends on facebook: Thanks for the love! Adding the title 'News Anchor' to my lengthy resume...ready for the new challenge! Everybody needs some news, so lock 99.1 on your radio preset, you just might hear me! We have traffic on the 1's, by the way! And, of course, Marc and I will still be doing our thing on 'HUR!
