“It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to interview President Barack Obama from the home of the “DJ Laz Morning Show,” said DJ Laz. “This historic interview gave the President a direct line to communicate with our listeners and speak about important issues within the Hispanic community, especially during such an emotional day such as 9/11.”

DJ Laz focused most of the interview with President Obama to speak about important topics that are priority on the President’s agenda like jobs and the economy, education, energy and the environment, health care, immigration, national security, taxes and healthcare for seniors. During the interview Obama, reiterated “that he’s taking an aggressive step to put Americans back to work and create an economy where hard work pays and responsibility is rewarded.”

Listeners from the “DJ Laz Morning Show” were also part of the interactive interview with President Obama, as DJ Laz asked questions that came directly from his listeners in South Florida and from Los Angeles, California.

DJ Laz asked President Obama about the importance of the Latino vote and immigration and Obama stated “I took action to lift the shadow of deportation from young people who came to the United States as children, through no fault of their own, and grew as Americans. As long as in office, I will not give up on this issue. Not just because it’s the right thing to do for our economy and for our security, but because it’s the right thing to do.”
