Charlamagne Tha God Featured in Rolling Stone Magazine

Charlamagne interviewing Kanye West at Power 105.1
Radio and TV host Charlamagne tha God went to instagram and twitter to promote the February issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. The South Carolina native has become a mega-media star in a few short years and has garnered an interview in a major mainstream magazine. @cthagod first arrived in New York City as a co-host on The Wendy Williams Experience on WBLS in March 2006. Charlamagne has recounted his humble major market beginnings in previous interviews. His only salary when he first joined the Wendy Williams show was a paid apartment in Brooklyn. Due to budget constraints, WBLS released him in 2008. Since that time Charlamagne has never looked back.

Rolling Stone calls him the Hip Hop Howard Stern, but we may have to agree with a tweet that compared him to Washington, DC radio legend, Petey Greene, who was also a great influence on Stern.
