Cortney Hicks Exits V101.9 Charlotte
Cortney Hicks has exited V101.9 (WBAV) Charlotte as midday host. She joined the station in 2015. She tells All Access Radio, "I am grateful for my time with the Beasley Media Group and appreciate the opportunity to serve the Charlotte-Mecklenberg community for the past 2-years. Nothing but the best for the V101.9 and Power 98 (WPEG) staff as my departure was amicable and peaceful. I've been non-stop since the recent passing of my mother so I'm very much looking forward to this brief self-imposed hiatus. Hicks has been on the air and behind the scenes in programming in the Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Detroit markets. While in Charlotte she was a regular entertainment contributor on the Good Day Charlotte morning tv news and information program.
