Rick Party has exited Urban AC “Hot 105” WHQT in Miami. Rick joined ot 105 for afternoons in 2013 and was later joined by Benji Brown.
The station then picked up the Michael Baisden Show in 2017 and the duo was moved to 12-3p.m. In 2018 the station dropped Baisden and put Party and Brown on in the afternoons once again. Brown will remain as Party says he was unable to come to terms on a new contract with Hot 105.
The veteran on-air personality has worked at WHQT in the early 1990s as well as at WGCI and WKSC Chicago, WBLS New York and WEDR Miami in his career. Below here is a throwback video of Party in Dallas at age 22 at 100.3 Jamz KJMZ. Rick Party is also a well sought after voice over artist. You can hear him on the evening edition of SportsCenter on ESPN.
