Veda Loca in the Morning Exits 97.9 The Beat
The Veda Loca in the Morning show has exited 97.9 The Beat Dallas/Fort Worth. Former co-host on the morning show and night host JKruz will remain at the station as a late morning host.
Veda posted her own farewell to her listeners on Social Media.
The Veda Loca Morning Show was brought in to compete against DeDe in the Morning on crosstown rival K104. Veda Loca's move from afternoons to mornings came at the expense of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show in November of 2017. (97.9 The Beat was where Rickey Smiley began as the lead host on his own morning show. The RSMS lost an important affiliate when the show was dropped in Dallas.)
The Morning Hustle with Headkrack will take over for Veda Loca next week on the Radio One station.
