Changes Coming to The Morning Culture on V-103, Looking for the Right Fit for Frank Ski

The Morning Culture on V-103 Atlanta launched in January 2019 with veteran on-air personality Frank Ski, singer Jade Novah, and JR of JRSportsBrief and Sportsradio WFAN in New York City. The show replaced the former 'Frank and Wanda in the Morning' with Frank Ski and Wanda Smith.

Some say the former morning show needed to be revamped and had run it's course. In addition the viral interview with comedian Katt Williams attacking Wanda Smith did not shed a positive light on the show. It went viral. But not in a good way.

Smith was reunited with Frank Ski in January 2018 after Ryan Cameron left the station as morning host. However now 'The Morning Culture' is trending towards a familiar version of what it once was with Frank Ski as lead host. Frank Ski is a solid morning man. Management knows this all too well. Ratings started to go up when he took over the show for Cameron. He had left the station in 2012 in hopes of a syndication deal that owners at time CBS Radio was not willing to do. Management, the same as before, but now owned by Entercom/Radio.com is looking to surround Frank Ski with a new morning team.

The Morning Culture was designed to attract a younger audience with the added push of the social media followers generated by Jade Novah and JR on various social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.

Jade Novah exited the show after only nine months. There have been various female hosts since, but until recently it's only been Frank Ski and JR on the air.

But JR over the last month has been working afternoons with Big Tigger. Management likes the on-air flow between Tigger and JR. The two sat in for Frank Ski on 'The Morning Culture' during Ski's Caribbean cruise vacation.

Meanwhile this week Mo Ivory joined Frank Ski on the show along with Ebony Steele. Mo Ivory had worked with Frank Ski doing afternoons at WHUR in Washington, D.C. about five years ago. She was also a part of the Ryan Cameron show at V-103.

As it stands now 'The Morning Culture' hasn't officially made any changes but it's coming. We will keep you informed.
