Allison Seymour and Marc Clarke Exit 96.3 WHUR as Afternoon Hosts

There is no official word from the station, however Afternoons with Allison and Marc are no longer a part of the station line-up at Howard University's 96.3 WHUR. The wife and husband team of Allison Seymour and Marc Clarke have exited the station. They came aboard in February of 2019.

Allison Seymour is a well known media personality in the Washington, D.C. area as the morning anchor for the FOX 5 Morning News on WTTG-TV.

Marc Clarke is a veteran radio personality who for many years held down the Big Phat Morning Show on 92Q WERQ in Baltimore along with Troy Johnson.

The DMV is a particularly competitive radio market as WHUR competes with radio legend Donnie Simpson on Radio One's Majic 102.3/92.7 (WMMJ). The loss revenue due to the coronavirus has not helped stations' bottom line throughout the country. Over the last 7 months, WHUR has completely turned over their entire full time air staff. Both midday host Triscina Grey and Quiet Storm host Jeff Brown exited at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020.

WHUR broadcast schedule continues with the Steve Harvey Morning Show and The Daily Drum with Harold Fisher, along with veteran Washington, D.C. on air personalities EZ Street in the midays, Coka Lani in the afternoons, and Angela Stribling as the Quiet Storm host.

You can still catch Marc Clarke on his podcast.
