DeDe in the Morning Congratulates “Achieve the Dream” Scholarship Recipients

Throughout the month of February, DeDe promoted her “Achieve the Dream” Scholarship on her Dallas based, nationally syndicated radio show “DeDe in the Morning.” The scholarship’s primary goal is to assist individuals by offering scholarships to a Historically Black College University (HBCU).

To commemorate Black History Month and to help her listeners achieve their academic and career dreams, DeDe McGuire and her foundation have awarded five listeners $2,500 tuition scholarships for study at a HBCU institution.

The winners are Erin Brown from Garland TX attending Hampton University, Bryson Patrick from Milwaukee WI attending Grambling State University, Destiny Jones from Baton Rouge LA attending Southern University and A&M College, Niya Davis from Danbury CT attending Hampton University and Myra Lewis from Concord NC attending Howard University.

DeDe McGuire comments “We congratulate all the winners of the Achieve the Dream scholarship and are proud to be a part of what inspires them to fulfill their educational goals and beyond.”
