iHeartMedia Atlanta President Fired and Earns Donkey of the Day from Charlamagne After Video Shows Him Using Racial Slurs
DJ Envy says in this "Donkey of the Day" report that he has had problems in the past with Drew Lauter, the former iHeartMedia Atlanta President. Lauter is no longer with the company after a video of him repeatedly using racial slurs was released.
According to a report from WSB-TV, an iHeartMedia spokesperson confirmed the news saying "allegations of this nature go against our company values and our policies and we take them very seriously". The spokesperson also confirmed Lauter said "the n-word".
Jason Castle, an attorney for the employee who captured the video in August of 2021, says Lautner used the word "in the presence of four executive employees, one of whom happened to be black".
Apparently it takes over a year for a video of this nature to surface.
