“We’re leveraging our position as the largest urban website in the world, and using it to deliver quality content to 10 million people, Fred Mwangaguhunga founder of MediaTakeout.com tells Black Web2.0. The goal is to not only be the top urban blog, but to be the top urban entertainment company.”

MediaTakeout.com announced that they are expanding their online presence by developing a web-based TV reality show to their website. The show “Media Take Out Presents: First Date,” is scheduled to premiere on September 18.

“You look at all the demographics—the under-25 market is watching less physical TV on a television. They’re watching more on their computer, on YouTube, on Hulu, on iTunes,” says Mwangaguhunga. “The question is which company is going to be best suited to take advantage of it. We’re coming in early and making aggressive steps to be that company.”
