Tom Joyner Back on the Air in Atlanta on the NEW Classix 102.9
After Radio One and Reach Media's decision not to continue with The Ed Lover Morning Show, now comes the format flip of the Classic Hip-Hop station that carried the show 'Boom 102.9.' Gone is Hip Hop in favor of Classic R&B and Soul Music on “Classix 102.9.” A return of 70's and 80's music with artists like Teddy Pendergrass, Patti LaBelle, The Jacksons, Chic, Shalamar, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, and Earth, Wind, and Fire.
The Tom Joyner Morning Show returns to Atlanta market after having been recently dumped by Urban AC “Kiss 104.1” in November. The TJMS won't air until January 13. Classix 102.9 will also air the D.L. Hughley Show for afternoons..
