Rickey Smiley, DeDe in the Morning, and The Breakfast Club Add NEW Stations

Radio One Dallas brings aboard The Rickey Smiley Morning Show to Urban AC Majic 94.5 (KZMJ) to replace the Tom Joyner Morning Show. Rickey returns to the Dallas market back where he began his own radio show at sister station 97.9 The Beat in 2004. From there he signed a syndication deal in 2008 and the show was moved to Atlanta's Hot 107.9.

Before Dallas, Rickey was a part of the Buckwild Morning Show on Birmingham's 95.7 Jamz where he created legendary prank phone calls in the late 1990's.

Beasley Media Group's 105.9 KISS FM (WDMK) in Detroit also adds The Rickey Smiley Morning Show to their morning drive lineup. PD John Candelaria said, “We are thrilled to have Rickey Smiley join 105.9 KISS FM. I have watched RICKEY ascend to National superstar over the past 20 years and we are excited to have him leading the line-up for the All New 105.9 KISS FM. Detroit is ready for a fresh new morning show."

Beasley purchased 105.9 KISS FM in June 2019 from Radio One.

Cumulus Media station Myrtle Beach's 98.5 KISS FM (WDAI-FM) has added The Breakfast Club to the station’s morning lineup. The Premiere Networks syndicated morning show will air Monday through Friday from 6am-10am ET, and on Saturday from 10am-1pm ET. The Breakfast Club stars South Carolina native Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy.

Cumulus' WYNN-FM 106.3 "Reppin' Hip Hop and R&B" in Florence, SC, has added DeDe in the Morning to the station’s morning lineup. The morning show stars DeDe McGuire, with co-hosts Lady Jade, Rudy Rush and Michael Shawn. The show airs Monday through Friday from 5am-10am ET, and on Saturday from 6am-10am ET.

Connoisseur Media's Urban AC WYBC 94.3 in New Haven, CT has added "DeDe in the Morning” to their morning lineup. Dir./Operations Juan Castillo moves from mornings to afternoons.
