Troi Torain AKA Star and Buc Wild Visits Funk Flex at Hot 97
Troi Torain better known as STAR as in The Star and Buc Wild Morning Show made a recent appearance at Hot 97 with Funk Flex (once known as Funkmaster Flex). STAR had quite a few things to say about the state of Hip Hop and rappers such as 21 Savage and Nas. He also gave a shout out to Joe Budden.
Here's a little history: In March of 2000 the Star and Buc Wild morning show launched on HOT 97 in NYC. In 2004 STAR and HOT97's new management could not reach an agreement about syndication and salary so STAR left and signed on with Power 105.1 via Clear Channel the previous name of iHeartRadio. After his firing at Power 105.1 he had a short run on an upstart station known as PULSE 87 then STAR eventually landed in Philadelphia at 100.3 The Beat replacing Charlamagne Tha God. He was also a part of the former Complex YouTube show 'Everyday Struggle' with DJ Akademiks and Nadeska. STAR in now busy with his own YouTube platform "The Star Report" that he does from his current location in suburban Atlanta, Georgia.
